A Witchy Read

Spellbinding is a YA paranormal romance about a teen girl who comes into her casting “power” after researching her family tree and a boy who is trying to save her.
The author spins a quick fun story and provides an entertaining spin on the Salem Witch trials not to mention a good lesson about revenge. The characters are interesting however this read is geared for the younger crowd so therefore the protagonists’ actions seem a bit immature and predictable. The secondary characters provide the necessary boost to turn about the typical teenage angst in the protagonist, Abby. The book is appropriately a YA book, no mention of drugs, profanity, or sex.; although there is practicing of witchcraft. The cover is beautiful.
